Explore & Apply For Our Mueller Internship Programs

Mueller offers students the opportunity to kick start their professional careers by joining our internship programs. Here at Mueller we offer two different internships programs, an audit focused program as well as a tax focused program.

Our Internship programs are different than many with the fact that we treat all of our interns as associates. We value the knowledge our interns bring to the table as well as look forward to mentoring them along the way.

Audit Internships

We are seeking several audit interns to work during what is normally our busy season. The internships are paid, 40+ hours per week and generally run from January 2, through April 15, with the possibility to extend the internship.

Our audit interns not only experience the traditional financial statement preparation experience but also have the chance to work on a wide variety of clientele and accounting procedures. We offer our interns the face to face real world experience they will need to be successful in this industry the moment they walk in the door.

For those interns who successfully complete a challenging busy season experience, an invitation to return or a full-time position may be offered.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Junior status or above

Alexis Campagna, Audit Intern

“There was something genuine in the way the firm was described; ultimately changing my direction of thought towards not what firm provides the most potential, but in which type of environment I could reach my own potential.”

Tax Internships

We are looking for several interns to work during the Tax Season, normally running January-April 15th. The internships are paid 40+ hours per week.

Our tax interns gain tax preparation experience and knowledge, develop professional relationships, and build the skills to function in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team oriented environment.

For those interns who successfully complete a challenging tax season, an invitation to return for the following year’s tax season or a full time position may be offered.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Junior status or above
  • Cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher

Ed Martin, Audit Intern

“I was visiting and working directly with clients starting the second week of my internship.”
